| | Last night was the last night of circuits. The running section of the workout is getting more intense, and will culminate over the next two weeks. Right now I am spending extended amounts of time at very high speeds, which is really, REALLY taxing on my cardiovascular system. I spent 0.75 mi at 10.8 mph, and then fell to 0.50 mi for the second interval. I followed that with 0.25 mi at 11.1 mph four times, and then 0.20 mi at 11.1 mph two times. Following that, I did the circuits, did a cooldown run, and stretched out before heading home. Today is an off day, and tomorrow will be the first of several very difficult running-only workouts.
